Eleanor Anderson Eleanor Anderson – Eleanor is a founding Advisory Board Member and the Policy Committee Chair for the United Neighbors of the 35th Ward. She grew up in New York City, and moved to Chicago 8 years ago. She works as a researcher at Northwestern University, studying the ways that schools and school districts work to implement new programs and policies. She and her wife Kirsten, who is also active in UN35, currently live in Albany Park.

Lenny BrodyLenny BrodyLenny is a founding member of United Neighbors of the 35th Ward. He worked on Carlos Rosa’s successful campaign for 35th Ward Alderman that provided the basis for the ward organization. Lenny has lived in the ward for over 25 years and has been active in many electoral campaigns including the Jeremy Karpen’s Green Party campaign for state representative which built support that led to Will Guzzardi’s victory. He is also a member of the Poor Peoples Campaign IL Coordinating Committee.

Hard Lens MediaHard Lens Media – Hard Lens Media is an independent news company which covers local news, grassroots organizations, and political issues with a focus on groups, events and individuals that do not have access to media coverage with the goal of creating a more informed public. Andrew FinkoAndrew Finko – Andrew is an attorney in Chicago that concentrates his practice in the areas of election law, debt defense, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigation.  He has represented dozens of independent and progressive candidates in election-related matters over the past ten years, fighting for their ballot access rights all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court or the U.S. Supreme Court.  Between election seasons, he represents people and businesses being sued for credit card, student loan, medical, lease, and other debt, so they are not taken advantage of by debt collectors and receive a fair outcome through settlement or dismissal of the court case. Andrew started his legal career litigating personal injury cases at small law firms in Chicago, and then moved into the area of construction law at Schiff Hardin LLP, which represented architects and engineers in litigation.  He received a B.S. in engineering at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana, IL) and law degree from John Marshall Law School (Chicago, IL).  773-480-0616 – FinkoLaw@fastmail.FM

 Jonathan PeckJonathan PeckJonathan has 25 + years of extraordinary leadership and management on the ground local, regional, national and international experience in all areas of sustaining and growing organizations, programs, initiatives and networks. Jonathan is an expert in the areas of community and organization development, research and analysis, operations, and executive fund development. In 2017 Jonathan co-founded The POWER Institute with Tom Tresser. Jonathan is Director of Organizing, Field & Special Projects for the Troy For Chicago campaign.

Tom Tresser Tom Tresser – Tom is a civic educator and public defender who has been working in grassroots democracy and community building in Chicago since 1990. He is the co-founder of the CivicLab, the editor and organizer for “Chicago Is Not Broke. Funding the City We Deserve,” and Lead Illuminator for the TIF Illumination Project. In 2008 he co-founded Protect Our Parks to stop the privatization of Lincoln Park. In 2009 he was a co-leader of the No Games Chicago campaign to defeat the bid for the 2016 Olympics.
